We participated in and actively covered FYUZ23 in Madrid, a remarkable gathering of industry leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts who illuminated the transformative potential of network disaggregation. With 1,200 attendees, 45 global exhibitors, and a focus on tangible deployments, this event stood out due to its unique ambiance, ecosystem growth, and its impact on reinforcing the impending surge in open RAN adoption. Discussions at FYUZ23 underscored the significance of collaboration in driving innovation and shaping the future of telecommunications.?

Unlocking Insights from 5G Americas Analyst Forum?

We then ventured to the 5G Americas Analyst Forum in Texas, where over 90 top-tier analysts joined forces with 17 members of the 5G Americas organization. This annual event offered critical insights into the 5G landscape, from its consumer adoption to the advancements in open RAN, AI, and the journey towards 6G.?

Brooklyn 6G Summit??

We finished off by attending Brooklyn 6G Summit, where we mainly spoke about 5G! The consensus among vendors, academia, communications service providers (CSPs), regulators and experts from multiple industries was that we have yet to deliver the true promise of 5G, we are still in the early innings. And this is a business issue rather than a technical one: everyone remains bullish about the potential 5G has to offer. Meanwhile, we did talk about 6G, starting with the evolution of 5G to 5G Advanced that is paving the way to 6G. Overall, we can do lots of things with 5G and 6G will transform what a network can do while building on existing technologies. One last thing though, we certainly need new spectrum bands, it’s a work in progress.??
