Twitter launches Twitter Connect Playbook?
Twitter is known for being the platform where current events and news are discussed more than any other social channel, so they are now sharing their guide to help businesses use this to their advantage.??
The Twitter Connect Playbook, a best-practice guide, will help businesses to connect to events their target audiences may be interested in, or events and trends they may want to align their brand with, including tips on how to insert themselves into the conversation around the events with handy examples, real-life data and success stories. The playbook also includes an in-depth guide to their updated Twitter Ad formats and how to utilise them in connect campaigns.??

Instagram videos will now all be uploaded as Reels?
All new video posts shorter than 15 minutes will be automatically uploaded as reels, whether the user wants it or not, with Instagram claiming it is because ‘reels offer a more immersive and entertaining’ video experience. Instagram claims reels have been growing in popularity on the app, but this may be due to the platform’s algorithm pushing this format more than the standard photo posts, and now automatically making all new video content into reels, without users having a say in it. Many users are starting to feel Instagram is trying desperately to become TikTok instead of focusing on its original USP of being a photo-sharing app that made it so popular in the first place. ?

LinkedIn announces new content format for LinkedIn?
Introducing carousels for LinkedIn! Unlike other popular social platforms, there is currently no option for multi-photo posts in the form of a carousel on LinkedIn. While many users have created their own ‘D.I.Y’ version of carousels, by using the PDF format and selecting frames, LinkedIn has decided to update its content formats on the platform.??
Jake Poses, Director of Product (Video, Creators, Events) at LinkedIn, shared the announcement using the new carousel video format. Both video and photo options can be used, with the option to also view the content full screen.??
Right now, the format is being rolled out to creators across the world, with the aim that by fall, the feature will be available to all users.?
