What's New in SharePoint, Teams, and CoPilot: Some Quickies.

This summer, a number of new features rolled out for SharePoint, Teams and Copilot. We’re especially excited about a few of the improved collaboration features for SharePoint, including co-authoring and the new SharePoint content pane. In case you missed it, here’s a recap and links to all of the great new features released in June, July, and coming this August.


SharePoint:

  • SharePoint page and news co-authoring: Multiple authors are able to collaborate on SharePoint pages, news and within web parts.? Co-authoring BLOG + DEMO VIDEO | "Introducing Coauthoring for SharePoint Pages and News " by Melissa Torres
  • SharePoint content pane: Authoring actions are grouped into a pane for convenient access for Publication creators. ??Includes tools such as the distribution channel selection, writing guidance and audience selection as well as web parts, media and Section templates in editing mode. Teams:

Team is also adding features to improve collaboration and to add some personalization to the experience with custom emojis, a new meeting gallery and some additions to Teams Rooms on Windows.? You can see more in What’s New in Teams: July 2024


Copilot:

Not surprisingly, Copilot for Microsoft 365 features, tools and how-to’s are being rolled out fast and furiously.?
