Happy Saturday, LinkedIn friends!
In this weekend's issue of my ?? newsletter, I share a portion of my journal entry, recapping a visit to Park Avenue (between 34th and 39th Streets) in Murray Hill, to check out Carole Feuerman's newly unveiled sculptures of swimmers for the first time. Here we go!
So, after walking ???? past the iconic Empire State Building while grooving to my favorite R&B instrumental playlist, I soon found myself standing at the corner of Park Avenue and 34th Street, looking towards the Park Avenue divide with the iconic building standing tall and strong in the background.?
As I gazed toward the Park Avenue divide, my attention was immediately drawn to one of the stunning sculptures that I came to see. So, without hesitation, I made my way toward it, eager to take in every detail—let's go!
Before I knew it, I was just a few feet away from the Golden Mean sculpture, where I stood awestruck, admiring its beauty while feeling peaceful inside.?
As I stood in front of the Monumental Quan sculpture at the Park Avenue divide and 35th Street, I paused for a moment to soak in some of New York City's bustling energy.?
I then recall thinking that the flow of traffic traveling up and down Park Avenue was like a symphony, accompanied by the chorus of car horns honking magnificently in the background. ??
While taking a moment to appreciate the vibrant atmosphere, I captured a photo to help me better remember the experience! ??
Immediately after taking a picture, I opened my go-to iPhone journal app and began journaling my thoughts!
Okay, now that you've mentally transported yourself beside me on Park Avenue in Gotham City, we must continue exploring this beautiful art exhibition! ??

1 年I saw these sculptures on a news report the other day. They are magnificent! Interesting point - Ms. Feuerman said it takes 10 yrs to do one sculpture.
