1. Benchmarking your future marketing approaches - new report and survey

2 B2B Marketing benchmark
This is another report, in this case a global survey from LinkedIn, I'm recommending for B2B marketers involved with shaping marketing strategy and skills development in their organisation. As well as the usual suspects for challenges shown in my newsletter header, it shows the perceived importance of integrating AI - see my fourth story below for more on this.?
3. New infographic download - Auditing digital maturity across the seven pillars of digital marketing
'Where do we start'? and 'How do we compare?' are FAQs when working on your digital marketing strategy. To help, I created this visual as a simple starting point since it will help you understand strengths and weaknesses and workshop them with colleagues as the start of prioritising where you need to improve, by when.
This mindtool is one of a series of maturity assessments for different digital channels and overall strategy (this one features in the survey).

4. The best options for using Generative AI for content and AI Automation including GPT??

5 Farewell to GA UA?
It's a fond farewell from me to Universal Analytics, I'm going to miss you after working with you since you were originally Urchin Analytics 20? years ago!?
I'm super frustrated to have to work with the relatively limited reporting capabilities of Google Analytics 4 which I have been spending a lot more time with recently and generally every day I'm discovering new limitations rather than positive new features.?
One positive is that at least Google has recently increased quotas for Looker Studio for GA4 analysis after decreasing them as i reported at the start of the year. Details of quota increases shared here.
Limitations of GA4 mean I'll also be spending more time in Google Sheets, but even that is challenging since Google still hasn't updated their Sheets Extension which was used by millions? Unbelievable. Kudos to Michele Pisani for providing a similar free service and showing Google that it's not too onerous - they seem to be encouraging paid solution. Hope this Magic Reports plugin may be useful to you to if you analyse GA data.

1 年Thanks, Dave Chaffey - a great read as ever although I would have thought being replaced by others who are more AI savvy was the biggest challenge for marketers who haven't kept up to speed:-)
