Hope you're having a fun time gearing up for the holidays! In this newsletter, we will figure out what changes on LinkedIn are waiting in the upcoming year.

This month, we had the pleasure of hosting an audio event together with LinkedIn pros! Kotryna Kurt, together with our guests, had a look into the future and discussed some trends coming up in 2024.


What should we expect next year?

The opportunity for people coming to the platform is in video content type.

I advocate for video, both in my own content and with our clients. Many are scared of videos or avoid them, especially in services requiring personal connection. Connecting with your audience, especially on LinkedIn, is crucial. Despite hesitations, video remains the most effective trust-building tool, offering newcomers a significant opportunity to stand out quickly.

To grow at pace, you need to be comfortable being uncomfortable, and video is still the most significant way to build trust in an audience over anything else.

I'm passionate about company branding, especially in recognizing the importance of employee branding. I hope more companies wake up to this, monetizing and leveraging creators like us. Looking ahead to 2024, I see LinkedIn creators advocating strongly for the platform, not just for its tools but also for helping others navigate effectively. This trend will likely see increased support from brands as they realize the platform's significance for creators.

In general, when it comes to marketing, the trends are repeating. So again, everybody's talking about authenticity and polished type of content.

Also, co-creation opportunities with influencers. So, that's why I am very interested in how LinkedIn is going to encourage creators. I wonder if we are going to see more partnerships?– the difficulty arises when brands realize that they would like to get somebody to influence their products or services. Still, some people have official positions at companies – they're not freelancers or business owners.

I'm looking forward to seeing more integrations in regards to AI because right now, they launched AI help when it comes to your profile optimization for premium accounts. There will be more things that they will test and try to implement. So, next year, I believe we'll see even more creative solutions and more creativity in people's posts.


Tips and Tricks

?? Company page. People often underestimate the importance of company pages. Power them up by sending invitations to follow the page, using the inbox that allows people to DM a company, and highlighting products or posts with a section ?featured“.

?? Consistent posting. Remember that the company page should not stay silent for long. It builds trust for potential employees and other companies that you want to do business with.

?? LinkedIn Top Voice Badges. If you lack ideas for comments on collaborative articles, reuse your old content. This could help you add more contributions to collaborative articles and get your LinkedIn Top Voice Badge faster.
