What's New in June?

Welding is a critical input for manufacturing process which spans almost every major industry. Do you know by detecting discontinuities in the early stages of manufacturing can actually reduce costs?

Thus, the industry is in need of Qualified Welding Inspectors!

With our 2  lively presentation you will understand not only the basic welding mertallurgy and weld symbols, but you will be able to evaluate the preparation test pieces for destructive tests, welding imperfection, welder's certificates & procedure specification acc. to ASME IX.

Delegate who choose to pursue the IICS 3.1A and 3.1 Exams will unergo actual hands-on examinations of weld replicas with various inspection tools.

We know this component broke, but are other components - of the same kind in the plant likely to break as well? What should you do to find those components before they break?

Over 30 years ago, our trainer Murry Funderburg was worked in a plant that had a lot of corrosion and materials engineering issues. That incident triggered him to explore deeper into Corrosion/Materials Engineering, Failure Analysis and Inspector. Till date, Murry has involved in this field for about 43 years and recently retired from Shell, USA.

Under his passionate teaching, you will be able to determine the various mechanisms and metallurgical failure mechanisms such as brittle fracture, stress rupture, steam blanketing, cracking, thermal shock, corrosion and fatigue.
