Why are US East Coast ports going on strike and what products are affected?
October was an eventful month for the US. At the end of September, over 45,000 union workers walked off their jobs at seaports on the US East and Gulf coasts. “A JPMorgan analysis projected that a strike could cost the U.S. economy $5 billion daily.” Although the strike has since been resolved, learn more about the reasoning behind why this happened and what products were most affected.
