MAGICBIOMAT Project Launched to Tackle Plastic Pollution

The EU-funded MAGICBIOMAT project, with Digiotouch as a partner, focuses on creating bio-based materials with programmed biodegradability for agricultural mulching films and paper-based packaging. By addressing current gaps in biodegradability and promoting material circularity, the project aims to reduce plastic pollution and advance a sustainable circular bioeconomy.

openDBL Holds 5th Plenary Meeting in Málaga, Spain

The openDBL project held its 5th Plenary Meeting in Málaga, showcasing progress in smart quality control, sensor integration, and pilot site applications. openDBL Hackathon: Innovating Smart Quality Control with AR

Held on January 22, in Málaga, the openDBL Hackathon brought together experts to develop AR solutions for Smart Quality Control using Microsoft HoloLens. Participants created prototypes to enhance quality control workflows, showcasing the potential of AR to improve efficiency, accuracy, and data management in building lifecycle processes.
