What's New With the Crisp Community

Over the Labour Day long weekend, I went to Portland with the Karina LeBlanc Foundation. I got to accompany their first cohort of mentees – or actually, femtees, it being the Karina LeBlanc Femtorship Program – for an in-person weekend of inspiration and connection. We attended a Portland Thorns FC game, talked about our “why”s, and challenged ourselves to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. It was a great kickoff to the fall busy season!

Another thing I’m excited about? Being interviewed for the High Agency Podcast ! I chatted with host Mo Dhaliwal about the rise of digital strategies, the power of data-driven decision-making, and the evolving role of marketing leaders in today’s business environment. I don’t know about you, but our September is off to the races. Here’s a glimpse at what we and some of our clients are busy working on:

• The Cheerful Pelvis is gearing up to open a brand new clinic this fall! It’s double the size and just a 2-minute walk away from their current space.
• Tall Tree Integrated Health is launching their Longevity Program, offering tailored lifestyle plans for people who want a proactive approach to living a longer, healthier life.
• As of today, applications are live for The Forum ’s E-Series Program, an all-encompassing education in business and entrepreneurship. And the Odlum Brown Forum Pitch Program, The Forum’s biggest program of the year, will start accepting applications next week.
• Cube Business Media Inc. has released the program for Business Transitions Forum Vancouver, including Tom Shepansky , one of the founders of Rethink Communications!?
• The fall cohort of Bellrock ’s Management Foundations training program starts on September 18. Learn proven and practical techniques for how to effectively, recruit, direct, develop, and motivate staff.
• Covers & Co. raised over $56,000 in support of the Clearwater Community Foundation at their recent Field of Dreams event, an all-day round-robin baseball tournament that took place on a baseball diamond cut out of a cornfield! Read all about it here.
