What’s New With the CPS Program? 5 Key Takeaways From Our Recent Agent Meeting

I’ve proudly been leading the Care Providers Insurance Services (CPS) team since April 2023 and recently had the opportunity to host a webinar with agents across the country to tell them what’s new about our nonprofit and social services insurance program and what sets us apart from others in this niche.

CPS has proudly protected nonprofit organizations with best-in-class coverage for more than 25 years because we know their mission to serve the community is absolutely critical.

In case you missed it, here are five key takeaways from our CPS webinar:

1. CPS recently implemented service enhancements to better serve our agents. We launched a new training and development program for CPS underwriters and underwriting assistants, making our bench stronger than ever. Our team has a process in place to turn around quotes as fast as possible. To further deepen our commitment to customer service, we now provide dedicated underwriters to each of our agency partners based on geographic territory — we have team members in three time zones!
2. CPS covers 60+ classes! We have one of the broadest appetites to cover the nonprofit industry. Our goal is to help our agent partners by putting you in a position to WIN business by providing a competitive product and great service. The hottest classes we are currently writing include IDD and group homes, ABA therapy, Head Start programs, private and charter schools, churches and other religious organizations and pregnancy centers.
3. We offer robust, stable coverages. CPS protects those who serve our communities with all the coverages they need, including General Liability, Professional Liability, Sexual and Physical Abuse, Automobile, Umbrella/Excess, Property and more. 4. Our in-house claims support is second to none. CPS boasts in-house claims experts with 50 years of industry experience. Our primary goal is to make sure all claims are handled timely and properly to drive better outcomes. Our claims team values information sharing, and they can also serve as a resource for agents and your claims team as needed! We have regular claims review sessions with our TPA to ensure everyone is abreast of key issues and trends.
