Platform Updates

  1. WhatsApp Cloud API - Now available as an integration?with the Convrs Platform, businesses can?send and receive messages using the?cloud-hosted version of the WhatsApp Business Platform. ?
  2. WhatsApp Message Template Statistics - In addition to specific campaign statistics, you can now track the collective?performance of each WhatsApp message template via the Convrs dashboard.

How to Access:

a. When selecting your WhatsApp message template, whether?under Campaigns or Active Chats, click on the bar chart icon at the top right.

b. A window will open, showing the basic statistics of the selected WhatsApp message template based on its?collective past performances.

If wondering about the difference between 'Sent' and 'Delivered' from the basic stats, messages tagged as 'Sent' mean they are on their way to the recipients, while messages tagged as 'Delivered' are?already in the recipients' inbox.

On June 6, Meta Conversations 2024 was held in S?o Paulo, Brazil. At this third annual conference, Meta unveiled exciting WhatsApp updates, with some features already launched and others still in the pipeline. Here's a quick recap in case you missed it:

  • WhatsApp Voice Calls?- Soon, businesses can offer customers the option to make direct voice calls within WhatsApp.?This feature is currently in testing and will?roll out on the Business Platform soon.
  • WhatsApp Group Chats?- Businesses will soon be able to create group chats with customers on WhatsApp,?facilitating better coordination and collaboration with customer groups.
  • WhatsApp Flows?- New features like calendar pickers and media uploads have been introduced, making it easier to manage appointments and transactions within the app.
  • Meta Verification - Meta Verified is now available for small businesses in Brazil, India, Indonesia, and Colombia. This subscription offers verified badges, impersonation protection, and other premium benefits, with plans to expand to new markets and availability on the WhatsApp Business Platform.
  • AI-Powered Assistance?- Although the details are still unfolding, Meta?AI?functionalities will include AI assistance within the WhatsApp Business App, generating click-to-WhatsApp ads, and improving message targeting and delivery.
  • Message Template Library - Meta is introducing a new message template library via WhatsApp Manager,?helping businesses send pre-designed messages quickly and efficiently.
