Save the date for the "Safety Net Innovation Summit" on September 24 through 26, 2024 in Oakland, California. Our health care safety net gets stronger with each ocnnection we make and innovation we share. - Center for Care Innovations (CCI)

?? Save the Date: Sept 24-26, 2024

In the pre-pandemic era, CCI regularly hosted summits that encouraged individuals to embrace innovation to compete in the rapidly changing health care ecosystem and address the evolving needs of their communities. ?

Today, we’re bringing back this popular event so that we can once again get to know one another in an analog sort of way. We’ve had enough of screens and virtual life. We believe our health care safety net gets stronger with each connection we make and innovation we share — and that requires some face-to-face connection. ?

The Safety Net Innovation Summit will gather changemakers working in organizations serving historically underinvested and marginalized communities — providers, community leaders, entrepreneurs, technologists, funders, payers, and more. Folks on the ground are often also ones with the best solutions. So we equip attendees with the skills, inspiration, collaboration opportunities, and promising practices to reimagine and restructure health care systems.

We're thrilled to have?AllianceChicago, ILN, and Alameda Health Consortium?organizing the event with us. Save the date and we'll be back soon with more information!

"Voices from the field" graphic featuring Kayla Ruiz, Harm Reduction Program Manager from Neighborhood Healthcare in San Diego: "How can we provide the best whole person care that meets the growing needs of our community? For us at Neighborhood Health, we know we can't do it all. Often times, we may not know of certain resources or social services, but we want to close the loop on an individual's care or their treatment, so we have to rely on the collaboration with and support from our community partners, just as we make sure they can rely on us as well."
