Saying that AR misses out on the most human of senses, Haptikos launches Haptik_OS for running exoskeletons, along with Haptikos Exoskeleton -- a pair of mechanical hands ($2,500; see image above). The hands have tracking sensors, haptic sensors, and (to come) kinaesthetic sensors, with 24 DoFs (degrees of freedom) per hand and sub-millimeter motion accuracy.

On the other side of the market, Canoa is asking parts suppliers to join, noting that “We’ve also removed the 2,000 SKU [stock keeping unit] limit we used to have”.

Disassembling buttons for Logitech mouse

Logitech hosts a repair site at iFixIt with instructions for fixing broken mice and keyboards at https://www.ifixit.com/collaborations/logitech-eu. The guides are customer-developed, so the coverage is uneven, or have complex steps, such as "Unsolder the microswitch." Sometimes links to parts suppliers are provided.

“Deep learning is weak, in the sense that it optimizes once on tons of past data to extract statistical patterns, and is frozen afterwards, while true intelligence dynamically adapts on-the-fly to variations and noise that comes from reality.”
