ArcGIS Pro 3.3 releases you’d never want to miss out!
* Now simulate realistic floods in 3D scenes.
- Flood simulation in 3D scenes uses elevation surfaces and buildings to model water flow, with behaviours for adding water (rainfall, water source points, initial depth), redirecting flow (barriers, channels), and removing water (infiltration, evaporation).
- The simulation outputs include a moving image of water flow, elevation surface raster, and exportable raster images for reports and maps, allowing for reconfiguration with what-if scenarios and symbology to represent flow rate or depth.
* Presentations allows us to share GIS stories.
- Presentations in ArcGIS Pro allow organizing and displaying maps, scenes, text, images, and videos in full-screen mode, telling the story of a project through a series of customizable pages.
- Pages feature content and properties like transitions and duration, can be managed in the Contents pane, and presentations can be shared as PDFs, videos, or images.
- Standard and georeferenced PDF documents can be integrated into imagery and mapping workflows, with individual pages added as raster layers to maps or scenes through the Add Data command or from the Catalog pane.
- PDF layers are treated like other raster layers, supporting visualization, enhancement, georeferencing, analysis, annotation, labelling, attribute edits, spatial reference updates, and export to other raster formats, with options to specify page, resolution, and colour mode via the PDF Options dialog box.
