What's New in April?
PMI - Baltimore Chapter
Educating Project Managers and promoting professionalism in Project Management.
Dear PMIBC Columbia Division Members,
I wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended our first division networking event. It was an absolute pleasure meeting so many of our chapter members and having the opportunity to connect with you on a personal level.?The event was a resounding success, thanks to your active participation, insightful conversations, and enthusiastic engagement. It was truly inspiring to witness the vibrant community spirit and camaraderie among our members in Columbia.
I'm thrilled to announce that this is just the beginning of several planned division networking events aimed at fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional development within the project management community.
Looking ahead, I'm excited to invite you to our upcoming Columbia Division Meeting on April 24. This event promises to be an enlightening experience as we explore, “The Rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI): Thriving as a Project Manager by Leveraging AI.” Not only will it be an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills, but you will also earn professional development units (PDUs) toward maintaining your certification.
I sincerely hope to see you at our events, as we continue to grow and learn together as a community. Thank you for your participation and support.
Best regards,
Maria Killian, President
PMIBC Columbia Division
Hello PMIBC Baltimore Division Members,
I am delighted to announce that Sheila Atkinson will be stepping in as the Acting Baltimore Division Director in my absence due to my travel commitments. Sheila brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, and I have every confidence in her ability to effectively lead our division during this time.
I am thrilled to inform you that Sheila will be launching a series of networking events for the Baltimore Division, starting this month. These events will provide invaluable opportunities for professional development, collaboration, and relationship-building within our community.
I encourage all members of our division to take advantage of this initiative by registering for the upcoming networking event on the PMIBC website. Participation is free and I am certain it will be both informative and enjoyable.
Let's extend our full support to Sheila as she takes on this new role and let's make the most of the upcoming networking opportunities to strengthen our connections and further our professional goals; the first of which will be hosted by one of our new volunteers, Shawn Jackson.
Thank you,
Benjamin Armbruster
