What's new at Amygda: July 2022
This July we were on the move.
We had our first off-site of the year in-person in Sofia, Bulgaria. Working together and solving deep engineering problems is what we like doing most!
We also attended the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA2022) in the UK and met with friends and partners (full details below).
Straight from the #fia2022 was a trip to Rome, Italy for the in-person day with the Business Innovation Factory of Leonardo , with lots of amazing feedback and next-steps discussed.
And most importantly, less from us and more from one of our customers. A new voice of the customer video featuring Stephanie Klecha , Head of Digital Services from Porterbrook discusses our work in the Rail industry.

1. Amygda team meet-up in Sofia
Sofia is a great destination to design future AI projects. We came together to work on our plans for product development, meeting our customer needs and overcoming challenges that we face as a start-up. Thanks to our amazing team, we are confident that the upcoming months will be a great success for Amygda.
Thank you to our investors, BrightCap Ventures , who kindly let us take over the office and create a ruckus.
2. Meeting partners and friends at Farnborough Airshow in London
We attended Farnborough Airshow in London and met with friends and partners, including Boeing , Leonardo, and GKN Aerospace .
Strengthening our relationship with our existing partners and building new opportunities has been the key outcome of FIA2022.
The first year to see some of the eVTOL companies make an entrance, watching Wisk in the foreground with a Boeing 777 at the back was striking.

3. Business Innovation Factory (BIF) catch-up in Rome
Working with Leonard and being part of the Business Innovation Factory has been an absolute pleasure and a stepping stone for us as a startup going deep in the aviation industry.
In a short period of working with Gianluca Volo, Gabriele Bastianelli and others have introduced us to new opportunities and a faster feedback loop for our business. Amygda's CEO Faizan spent a great day with some good feedback from Paolo Salvato and Amedeo Pata that will surely benefit us.
4. Voice of the customer - Stephanie Klecha from Porterbrook
Porterbrook has been working with Amygda on building machine learning models which can assess and predict engine health to help Porterbrook's internal resources focus their effort on issues and tasks which will deliver the most impact to rail on reliability and thereby customer experience.
In this latest Voice of the Customer video, Porterbrook's Head of Digital Services,?Stephanie?Klecha explains how Amygda has brought expertise and really valuable perspective to its challenges.
