What’s in a name!

A name 100 years ago

Names have fascination of their own. They can mean different things for different people across different cultures. If this is mixed with history, some most interesting situations can result. An example taken from Zev Vilnay book Legends of Judea and Samaria, 1975, pp. 243-244 is as follows:
