The most successful affiliate marketing method is having a very good sales funnel, this is the short answer.

It’s what you do with the list you have. What is a very good sales funnel? For starters it’s having low ticket items up front that are really, really good.

In the middle having products that you can earn residual income is very nice as well.

Residual income is when you do the work one time and you can make money into the future. These are things like membership plans, monthly services and payment plans.

Towards the end you want high ticket items. This is where you can make a lot of money per sale.

What is not good is promoting 1 product for 1 day, then the next day switch to another product.

It’s much better to promote just 1 product for a week.

You also want to be sending multiple messages per day and this is where copy-writing comes into play.

At the end of the week do whatever you can to get someone off the fence. This means it’s a good idea to create some type of urgency.

Another successful affiliate marketing method is using both up-sales and down-sales. Another idea is to give a few samples of the product you are selling, if you can.

Next, let’s talk about traffic. Everything you do as an affiliate marketer should be to drive traffic to a page where you can get someone’s email address and name.

Your list is your greatest asset as a marketer, because most people have to look at something many times before they buy.
