What's most important to customers when choosing vendors?
Trevor Hefford
We empower the restaurant community to delight guests, do what they love, and thrive.
The number one thought on a customer's mind when they’re looking to buy something is “Who can I trust?”
To build trust I do stuff I know my competitors won’t do consistently.
I’ve broken it down into my Real Value Rules? (RVR?).
1. Deliver value and results - long before I ask to get paid.
2. Once paid, check in with my customers monthly. Even if it’s for just 5 minutes on the phone.
3. Respond to their concerns fast.. and when they don't expect it. (weekends, holidays, vacations)
These 3 rules look simple, but take discipline to sustain.
When I consistently follow the RVR? formula, their trust grows while my revenue soars.

5 年I’d have say depending on vendors like software & hardware is how long support will run, QoS & SLA and how important this is to them. You can have the greatest system in the world with great features but if it takes business down for a day or days or even weeks in some cases. I’m not interested in your product.
