Wait are you REALLY going there???
Yes, I am. Please be patient with me. I hold both a Masters of Divinity and a Masters in Management & Leadership. I believe that these qualifications will be useful as we proceed with this series. In discussing love in the workplace, I suggest that we seek guidance from the Scriptures. The Apostle Paul devoted an entire chapter to the topic of love in a letter to the Corinthian Church, which is widely known as the "Love Chapter." While Paul's teachings were originally intended for a religious audience, they are applicable to any organization, including businesses. The principles he outlined for encouraging love and unity among people in the past can be just as relevant and beneficial in today's corporate world. By following these principles, businesses can create a positive and supportive environment for their employees. Hence, I will delve deeper into the definition of the word love as defined by Paul.

Prioritize LOVE Above All!
Paul's message is straightforward: regardless of our achievements in areas such as performance, leadership, or philanthropy, they are insignificant if we lack the kind of love he is about to describe. It is clear that Paul prioritizes the significance of this love and considers it to be the foundation of our personal and professional lives.
Getting Straight to the Point!
As we explore this ancient text, we will discover that Paul is, in fact, discussing the concept of "Emotional Intelligence." Experts in the business world have confirmed that those with emotional intelligence tend to excel faster than those who only possess strong intelligence without people skills. So, let this realization be the catalyst for you to become your best self both personally and professionally by cultivating love in a way that transforms you, how you work, how you lead, and essentially how you approach everything. Remember, how we do one thing is how we do everything, and by developing emotional intelligence, we can unlock the potential within us to achieve success and fulfillment in all aspects of life.
