There's so much going on at KARANA these days that we wanted to start sharing more of it with you all (hopefully you can join us for some of our events listed below!). This Monday KARANA's Culinary Director Gisela Salazar Golding hosted an amazing pop up at Jewel Los Angeles. She created an amazing menu and experience. We'll be sure to let you know about the next one!

Edible Planet Summit in Perugia, Italy?

Co-founder Dan was invited to the inaugural Edible Planet Summit in Perugia, Italy in September! This invite-only event brought together key stakeholders and thought leaders from every element of the food system, from food access, justice, and sovereignty to biotech based proteins. The instructions were to check egos at the door and have frank and meaningful discussions around the directions our food system needs to go. It was amazing to see so many industry leaders aligned around the need to expand regenerative, equitable supply chains, focus beyond protein and return to real food and culinary roots, while keeping space for new and novel solutions.?

The chefs at the Italian Military Language College where the event was held also prepared KARANA pasta dishes for lunch and dinner for all 150 attendees and kept asking when it will be available in Italy -- unsurprisingly we have many volunteering to be the account manager for that one.
