Meet Lauren!
Introducing Lauren!
Lauren is an author and freelance journalist and WRAP member! Her most recent book came out in July and is titled 'Probably Nothing', a witty rom com where a the main character Briony ends up reluctantly entangled in the chaotic aftermath of her not-quite-boyfriend's death.
Her journalism tends to focus on substantivity, fashion, but one of her recent articles was a love letter to the jacket potato!
Lauren knew she needed a coworking space as her and her husband were both working from home and after visiting WRAP she knew it was right up her street.

New Year, New You: Why 2025 Is the Year to Join a Coworking Space
As we step into 2025, the way we work continues to transform. Gone are the days when traditional office setups were the only option. Enter coworking spaces—the perfect blend of flexibility, community, and productivity. Whether you're a freelancer, small business owner, or part of a growing team, coworking spaces are reshaping the modern workplace. Here is why joining a coworking space this year might be the best decision you make.
Three to Thrive
New year means new newsletter segment, welcome to 'Three to Thrive' ! Each month we will be giving you three top tips in a variety of categories.
Three Tips to Manage Your Time as a Freelancer
1. Use Time Blocks: Dedicate focused periods for client work, admin tasks, and creative projects.
2. Set Boundaries: Establish clear working hours to avoid burnout and overcommitment.
3. Plan for Downtime: Schedule breaks to recharge (You can always use WRAP’s communal areas to unwind.)
Productivity Tip
Batch Similar Tasks Together
Batching tasks together is a productivity technique where similar tasks are grouped and completed in one focused session instead of spreading them out over time. This method helps minimise context switching, which is the mental effort required to shift focus from one type of task to another. Here's how it works and why it's effective:
How it works: Group similar tasks (like answering emails or making phone calls) and do them in one focused session.
Why it works: Switching between tasks can waste time and mental energy. Batching reduces the time lost in transitions and helps you stay in "the zone."
And that's a wrap!
