Introducing the Park Person of the Month, Gilles Tchianga , Founder of Taltis Foods Inc. | African Food & Beverage

Gilles' journey with us began as a participant in our Concept to Market Sprint program in 2021 and as our incubator member. Since then, he has become an invaluable part of our community.

Over the past years, he has been a great supporter of entrepreneurs. He inspires others with his positive attitude and commitment to helping businesses succeed. He offers advice and speaks at events to share his expertise in the consumer packaged goods industry.

Gilles, congratulations on this well-deserved recognition! Your passion for entrepreneurship and helping entrepreneurs is truly inspiring.

  • What moment are you most proud of in your entrepreneurial journey??It makes me proud to know that I have contributed to bringing African-oriented products to the retail shelves in?Canada. Walking down the aisles of stores, I feel less homesickness and more of a sense of belonging.?
  • This month is Black History Month – what does this month mean to you as an entrepreneur? As an entrepreneur, Black History Month is a reminder of the Black excellence?and contribution I can bring to support?the economy?in my community.?
  • You've been a consistent supporter of food entrepreneurs in the industry. What motivates you to continue supporting the entrepreneurial community? I am convinced?that one is stronger as much as his community becomes. Supporting fellow entrepreneurs is about building a solid community I can?refer?to. At the same time, it is?a way of giving back.
  • Any tips for new entrepreneurs who have just started out? The few tips I can say are: Believe in yourself, learn from your failures, and ask for help by connecting with people; Information is key.
