Random recent thoughts:

• My eldest daughter turns three on Monday. I constantly ask my wife where the time has gone. I constantly ask myself how I can continue to be more present in her life. I do a lot with and for her but always looking to spend more quality time with her.
• Related to the above, I've been thinking a lot lately about this constant tug and pull between work and the other things I love (family, friends, hobbies, etc.). Sometimes it feels like things are perfectly in check and other times, it feels like the pendulum swings too much in one direction or another. I don't know about you but I never feel like I'm doing enough. I always add more and more to my plate and somehow now I own and operate half a dozen businesses. Luckily I have really good systems in place and I genuinely love what I do, but I often ask myself if I'm crazy haha.
• I've thought a lot about this notion from my early 20s about how I wanted to be a billionaire. And now I'm WAY more attracted to running 6 to 8 figure profitable companies instead. Part of my reflection has been around was that actually my idea to want to become a billionaire or was that a "borrowed idea". It's so important to take a step back and reflect on the question, "Is this what I want because I want it?" Or do I think I want this because I heard someone else say it and it sounded cool for a second? Once you can decipher between the two, it'll help you ensure you go down the right path for yourself, not someone else.

Anyways, I have tons more random thoughts and things I want to share but it's Friday, lol.
