What’s Going on With the Chicago Spire Hole?

Have you heard of the Chicago Spire hole? It’s a giant, gaping hole that was supposed to be the tallest building in the western hemisphere at 400 N Lake Shore Drive. The project was financially backed in 2005, but was understandably scrapped in 2008 due to the global economic crisis. Since then, it’s become the butt of many jokes, conspiracy theories, and ghost stories. To learn about its bright new future, watch this short video.
