Before you stop reading,?thinking the Gender Pay??Gap doesn't have anything to do with you, bear with me for a moment.???Maybe you're thinking?closing the gap is an issue for HR, or just affects women but the truth is, it’s something that benefits and impacts?everyone. Let's explore how.??
First, let's clarify what we mean by 'pay gap'.?The gender pay gap is the average difference in earnings between men and women across all jobs and industries. Equal pay means that men and women are paid the same for doing the same job or work of equal value.??
They're not the same thing.?The reason some organisations have a gender pay gap is that there are more men in senior positions than women.
This year for the first time, companies with over 150 staff will have to take their 'June Snapshot' and produce a full report in??December.? Next year, it'll be companies with 50 or more staff.??
