What's the FORMULA for journalling?

A few months ago I wrote a newsletter like this on how to write a M.E. J.O.U.R.N.A.L., here: https://www.dhirubhai.net/pulse/how-write-me-journal-chris-croft/
That was a list of suggestions for your daily journal.
But what about the things you could write about on a more occasional basis, perhaps weekly, or monthly? Or even once a year, when you could have a review, though I think more often would be better.
Here they are!
F - friends who you haven't seen for a while and would like to get in touch with
O - objectives or goals that you want to add to your list, or get started on
R - reading - are you doing enough? What will you read next?
M - master list - have a review of it, anything to add or remove, is it too long, anything on there you want to make a start on, maybe plan some of it into slots in your calendar
U - upcoming: what have you got this week or month, are you happy with the way it's looking? do you need to do any preparing or thinking about what's coming up?

L - what are you looking forward to, what are you excited about? Not "nothing" I hope!
A - avoid - what can you say No to, delegate, or get rid of from your life? What is not making you happy, or not adding value?
As before, you don't have to do all of the above, but some of them might be interesting ideas to include in your regular journalling (which by the way I define as "sitting down with a pencil and paper and having a think about stuff")

4 个月Maybe my favorite thing from this article (which I very much enjoyed) is the photo of you and the Chris Croft door knocker. I'm going to check Amazon for that! Thanks for the journalling advice.

4 个月I love this... FORMULA I will incorporate this into my health coaching. I have journals (different varieties on Amazon) and this just gives those who are struggling on "how to start" a steppingstone. Thank you Chris ??
