?? What's the deal with the dominoes?
Centre for Public Impact
We're a learning partner for govts, public servants, and the changemakers leading the charge to reimagine government.
Hello Friend,
Did you ever play a game of domino rally as a child? You line up dominoes, or blocks, in a row and knock the first one over. Ideally, they all fall from there, but in my experience, it usually takes a few experiments and iterations to get it right. It reminds me of the work that we do with governments.
The eagle-eyed among you may notice dominoes appearing in our CPI materials over the next few weeks. It’s all part of a rethink in how we present CPI to the wider world. We started this process over a year ago and we’ll be launching it for real this October.
Of course, we couldn’t have reached this stage without you ??
Thank you so much to those of you who took the time to complete our brand survey. We really appreciate your input, and it’s helped shape where we landed. It was such a pleasure to hear that people enjoy our ideas and love working with us. We learned that you value the people at CPI and like hearing about our global reach. But you also told us that we can be a bit “wordy” (noted) and that we could do more to show the human impact of our work.?
Your feedback matters to us; we've taken it to heart. We're excited to share a new brand that emphasises our playful side. The brand has bright new colours and will use dominoes to demonstrate important ideas in our work. We can use them to create shapes, build new paths, and take small actions that spark real change.?
? Keep an eye out for our new brand in the coming months! In the meantime, we’d love to hear from you. What ideas do the dominoes spark for you?
Thanks,
Rosie McIntosh
