What's the Cost of Helping Someone?

What's the Cost of Helping Someone?

It is without question that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused financial hardship for many individuals. Millions of people have lost jobs, businesses have closed, and our lives have all changed in one way or another.

One group of individuals that has hit especially hard is the homeless population. San Diego's homeless population is the fourth largest in the entire country.

Although many people have faced financial hardship during this time, in spite of that: How many of us worked remote, saving the expenses from things like commuting?

For less than a tank of gas, you can help make an impact on someone who does not have access to clean water, bathing, and sanitization by participating in Airgain's Virtual 5K.

This 5K is about sharing our success over the past year, with those who have been displaced by the impact of the COVID-19. Airgain will be matching up to $5,000 in employee donations. I encourage each of you to reflect over your past 12 months. Think of the impact this can have to someone. To bring some amount of dignity back into their life, by your participation in this event.

If running/walking the 5K is not for you, please go to the online store, where you can supply blankets and hygiene kits to for people in need. We are all part of a community, and as a community we must share, make a positive impact and champion for those who may otherwise be forgotten.
