What's Cool in Sustainability for December 2024

As 2024 comes to a close, it marks a year of climate highs and lows. On the positive side, research shows 80% of investors will increase sustainable investments over the next two years. Plus, 95% of the world’s top 250 companies are now publishing carbon reduction targets. Unfortunately, fossil fuel emissions broke a record this year, and as expected, 2024 will be the new hottest year on record.

For this month, we’ve compiled a selection of updates, resources, news and more that are relevant to the design industry and help us all reach sustainability goals. If you have any questions about how sustainability can help deliver better results, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Director of Sustainability, Eric Corey Freed, RA, LEED Fellow.
