What's in a change?

Quite a lot actually. We all know change for change sake serves little purpose. Change because we are going to live/work smarter not harder – well that’s a different story.

And that’s exactly what is happening with this newsletter ??.

When I started the newsletter I thought it would be great to host it weekly newsletter - I didn’t take into account how difficult it is for me to write, the time, the effort, impact – without even considering what you wanted - sorry!

I share with clients the 4 R framework: Review, Reset, React, Reward. And that’s exactly what I have done here

Review:

Data from Campaign Monitor by Marigold says send it on any day or time as there is very little impact. Make Every Day Count won't be happening on a Monday that's for sure. I can't find any evidence that says weekly is better than monthly - it's all to do with whether you can inspire others.

Reset:

This newsletter is going to be monthly definitely and ad hoc (if there is something inspirational to push out) but definitely not weekly. I’m going to keep the image the same – consistency.

React:

The Name: Make Every Day Count

This has been my mantra for over two decades, some of you will see that I sign off emails “live life curiously, make every day count”

The Purpose: to inspire, transform and support good humans succeed every day so they can create extraordinary meaningful outcomes.

The Audience: smart, visionary leaders and teams who want to live and lead with purpose. People like you ??

The Tangible Outcome: You end the day a better human than when you started

Reward:

Growth: In subscribers (please share with your network)

Wealth: Knowledge - I’d love your comments and insights. You don’t have to agree with everything I say – let’s have a healthy, respectful debate

Success: Working smarter not harder. This simple change has given me back 6 hrs a month

??Making Every Day Count this month ??

The world is changing at a faster pace than ever before. Shifting demographics. Rapidly evolving technology. Rising customer expectations. It’s enough to make even the most experienced executive’s head spin.

In this fast-forward era, you (and the team around you) need to be bold, cohesive and agile. Knowing how to unlock opportunities quickly so business strategic objectives and personal aspirations can be smashed.

With so much investment going into learning and development, real tangible outcomes are as critical as ever (making every day count for the organisation, teams and individuals)

Hands up who wants to go to another boring workshop that you forget as soon as you leave the room? Didn’t think so.

Remember the 4 R’s – I used the same framework to reposition and enhance my offering so I can be at the front of the curve building tomorrow’s business leaders, today.

Not next year. Not next month. Now.
