What's Between You and What You Want Most in Life? Your Thoughts. Always.

Our brains can make things complex.

We think we need to fix so many things about ourselves so we can be happier (or at least feel better about ourselves, where we are and where we're headed in life).

What if I said the only thing standing between you and what you truly want in life are the thoughts running through your head (conscious and subconscious)?

When I first learned this work, I was skeptical, too.

But after decades of causing myself so much suffering, I decided I had nothing to lose. I was already at rock bottom. I had neither the energy nor the mental or emotional bandwidth to hold space for both skepticism and hope.

So I decided to throw one more Hail Mary, and chose to go with hope.

I committed to learning everything I could about mindset work and my brain (which, true fact, I felt was the only one in the world that was too far gone to be “fixed”).

I decided that for once in my life, I would go “all in” in my mental health and personal growth, instead of my usual pattern of trying something with one foot halfway already out the door.

That decision was everything.

We might want to...lose weight, get more fit, get a better job, earn more money, find our purpose, live our passion, find our people, do good in the world, love and be loved, be more mindful, deepen our relationship with ourselves and others from an emotionally healthy space, just BE happy....and so on.

But what’s holding us back from any of those?

The thoughts running through our minds.

You might argue that some emotion is holding you back -- likely a fear based emotion or one rooted in self-defense or self-protection.

But the thing about emotions is they’re created by our conscious or subconscious thoughts.

This is the place I work, the space between you and what you truly want. This area is my passion.

I help people see the path between where they are and where they want to be, and empower them with tools to take themselves there.

I know the pain of skepticism.

Sometimes, when things seem bleak, the most courageous act is to choose hope.

Some say that hope is useless, that we can't rely on hope to motivate us to take action.

But we're not asking hope to be the fuel.

It's a starting point.

Hope keeps our hearts and minds open to possibility.

And possibility is a doorway to belief.
