What's Better For You? Brown Or White Carbs???????

Should you be asking this question? I mean... it's great to know which ones better...

Wholemeal over white right?

But what if you hate the taste of wholemeal?

Will you get fat if you keep having white carbs over the wholemeal ones?

What about if you cut them out altogether, would that then make weight loss go faster?

My two pence, and I'm entitled to it...

is this:

Doesn't make a blind bit of difference! (at least when you're starting out)

+Side note: If anyone wants to get deep into the different types of starches and levels of amylopectin vs. other long words, come at me bro ??+

But fundamentally, the people who are asking this questions USUALLY have a longgggg way to go before this will make ANY difference whatsoever in their lives.

Things like:

  • troubled sleep
  • long hours without food (by accident)
  • zero water drinking
  • not knowing how MUCH you should be eating
  • avoiding vegetables
  • not hitting enough protein

Come WAYYYYY before asking questions like this.

Yet what makes great headlines for newspapers? "Cut out white bread and switch to brown to lose weight"

Yup, that makes headlines... whereas me telling you:

"You need to drink more water" SNOREEEEEE yep heard it all before Glenn.

Then why dont you do it?

And there lies the problem, it's old, used, recycled advice...

Kinda like my dad telling me to buy my girlfriend roses, but what has it stuck around?

Because you won't find a fit person on this planet who doesn't drink a LOAD of water each day

A fit person who goes three + days without training or being active

A fit person who misses a day of eating vegetables & fruit

Doesn't happen.

So instead of being focused on finding out whether you should cut your morning nutella on toast

Put your attention on other things & watch the results show up!
