?? Good morning! In today's Legal File, watch University of Texas School of Law professor analyze the U.S. Supreme Court's leaked draft opinion on abortion. As usual, we track the comings and goings at law firms. Bond Schoeneck added two offices by combining with Long Island-based Lazer Aptheker, Morrison & Foerster hired a former 21st Century Fox attorney, and DLA Piper poached a lawyer from Linklaters in Hong Kong.

Syracuse, New York-based midsize firm Bond Schoeneck & King said Tuesday it would be adding two new offices by combining with Long Island-based Lazer Aptheker Rosella & Yedid.
Bond said the combination will be effective in June and the firm’s new offices will be in Melville, New York and West Palm Beach, Florida. Lazer Aptheker, which has a large litigation practice, will bring 23 new lawyers to Bond, taking the total headcount up to 275, the firm said.
“We have referred services to Bond over the years in practice areas that we didn’t offer,” said Ralph Rosella, managing partner for Lazer Aptheker, in a statement. “We’re excited to be part of a firm that can offer a broader array of legal services.”
Morrison & Foerster said Tuesday that it has hired a former assistant U.S. attorney and deputy general counsel for 21st Century Fox Inc as a partner in Los Angeles.
Brian Michael most recently spent five years at King & Spalding. He'll be part of Morrison & Foerster's securities litigation, enforcement and white-collar defense group.
Michael worked on global compliance for Fox broadcast, cable, digital and sports media businesses as deputy general counsel, Morrison & Foerster said.

Between February and March, Morrison & Foerster poached at least five partners from Perkins Coie in California.
Global law firm DLA Piper said Tuesday it has hired a Greater China partner from Linklaters in its finance, projects and restructuring (FPR) practice in Hong Kong.
Crystal Chen focuses on cross-border banking and finance transactions involving China, particularly in the power, petrochemical and mining sectors, DLA Piper said in a statement.
DLA Piper’s global FPR head David Trott said growing the practice in Asia is a long-term strategic priority for the firm.
