What's actually INDUSTRY 5.0 ?

INDUSTRY 5.0, was launched on December 1st 2015 by Founder Michael Rada.

What is INDUSTRY 5.0? It’s not about new production, technology, digitizing, robots, IoT, AI or any other new devices, but quite the opposite - finding ways to REUSE existing RESOURCES in any form or shape, preventing waste happening. It’s the first evolution ever made by man, aiming to reestablish the link between humanity and production.

Human makes products for consumption and usage which all finally ends up as TRASH. The production processes are well defined and streamlined with end2end quality control, but as the products are put in a logistic process of a supply chain to be placed in the market for sale, the responsibility for them is being left with the societies – authorities, businesses, and individuals. ?There is hardly any responsibility left with the producers for any surplus, non-saleable, or end-of-life products.

Every society in our global community requires a reverse logistic process, collecting these products for reuse, upcycling into new products or recycling to new raw materials only. Processes to prevent waste happening in any form or shape should be applied and ensured, hence utilizing alternatives as repair, refurbish, reconfiguration, redesign, or ?repurposing to extend products lifetime, prior to any final recycling option, as the last resort.

This process of asset recovery may be applied not only for consumer products, but also for other categories as boats, planes, trains, cars and building constructions. Even recovery of the asset which every employee represent as a potential for functioning in an alternative position or workplace, should follow the same aim of preventing resources not being utilized to its full ability, ensuring the welfare and freedom of humans and animals.

Preventing waste happening is also valid for avoiding inefficiencies in processes as well as preventing wasting of time – as both leads to loss of valuables, and for the latter any loss of time may even be irreversible.

INDUSTRY 5.0 has identified 5 categories of WASTE, specified as PHYSICAL, SOCIAL, URBAN, PROCESS and TIME, (examples as follows, but not limited to):

??????? Surplus, used and released products and materials that can be Repurposed, Reused, Repaired, Reconfigured, Refurbished, Redesigned

???????? Products considered waste or garbage, placed in waste containers and in landfills, but still usable – as expiry food

?Social:?

??????? People - hindered a meaningful life; too young/old, wrong gender/culture, religion/race, sexuality, physical and mental health, refugees, handicap/disability

???????? Animals - hindered their 5 freedoms; from hunger/thirst, discomfort, pain, injury/disease, fear/distress and living under normal behaviour

?Urban:?

??????? Empty buildings, factories, apartments, shopping centres, unused plots of land, decommissioned industry, unregulated property, infrastructure routes

??????? Non effective or inoperable process that turns people into pawns without meaning or purpose. Methodology that does not take human considerations and needs into production/service delivery processes. Meaningless and inappropriate processes

Time:?

??????? Waste of omnipresent time – with one big difference, every single second is irrevocable, reuse is impossible. Hence, time should be utilised in the best possible way - for desired results and experiences

INDUSTRY 5.0 encourages every individual, in private and workforce, to apply these principles and put required processes in place to ensure the aim of a WASTELESS WORLD may be obtained.
