Whatever it takes
Our services and the need for our services in the market place are extremely important. We truly get to help people during an extremely difficult time in their lives. It is not to say that we do as important as Police, Fire Fighters, Doctors or Nurses or anyone else that saves or protects lives. However we all have had the opportunity to restore property that so many of our customers have spent their lifetimes trying to achieve. Then disaster strikes and customers watch as it all goes up in flames, or gets washed away in a flood…. We are given the privilege of picking up the pieces.
This is such a rewarding and noble profession… I am so proud of what we do. But it’s not just what we do it is how we do it. It is the manner and attitude which we approach adversity. What is your philosophy in tackling an ever changing market and the unique needs of our clients? (And they are truly unique.) My philosophy is simple “whatever it takes”. As a child my father would never let me say “I can’t” rather he told me to ask “how can I?” There is always a way to accomplish what we need to do regardless of the complication…. That was true in Columbia. We all came together to tackle a large event and brought to the table many different strategies and experiences from all of the RT1 companies. Whether we need to bury a cat, dig through ruble to make sure we find a precious antique, or have 50 men mobilized to South Carolina in 24hrs. We have the right team and the right resources to overcome any obstacle. But having the capability and the knowledge is not enough; it’s the willingness! Only those employees that are willing to do whatever it takes are the ones who will truly find out what it will take! This needs to be expected of our current employees… And we need push to hire individuals with this kind of fortitude and willingness to do “whatever it takes”. This more than any other initiative will propel RT1 to the top of our industry for years to come.
I love this business, and I know everyone on this email chain does too. Let’s do everything we can to make RT1 the best in the business.

9 年You really said it well, "whatever it takes". That is exactly what it takes in the restoration industry because at times, and to a homeowner that has suffered a major life event such as a fire, the "whatever" can seem impossible. When you can attain that success, there is no greater satisfaction.
