What is your "Web-Site" doing?

What is your "Web-Site" ‘doing’? That is, if you have one.

And if you have one, what is it really doing for you? What is it doing for your business? Is it adding to your bottom line or taking from it?

Do you need to have it or should you just let it be and focus all your energies offline?

The world has evolved and traditional brick and mortar businesses, even very profitable ones also need to be online to remain relevant and serve existing customers and new ones effectively and from all over the world at any time!

Having a website should not be optional, it is one investment that can significantly improve your revenue and drive your business profits up if done right and maintained properly.?

Beyond brand awareness (which is a great thing), awareness alone will not give you all you can get from going online. Sometimes, it may be better to stay offline than have a website that turns people off or plain out misrepresents your vision and core values as a business. Business websites must go beyond just awareness to harnessing the full potentials of being online.

Would one open an office in a prime location just to have people admire the brand and do no more? Get no revenue, no profits, no gains from the location? Transact no business at all, just because they want to create awareness and nothing more?

Having a website is not the same thing as having a billboard advertisement on a tall conspicuous building in the middle of town. It is more than that, it is setting up another point of revenue and profits for your business. And it is possible to measure how efficient your website or online presence is ‘working’ for you and what tangible results/value it is adding to your business. Every investment should count and your website is a valuable part of your investment that should actually yield full returns for your business all year round.

"Business websites must go beyond just awareness to harnessing the full potentials of being online."?

Consider the following key reasons to have your website optimised for profitability:

Your website has to be gorgeous, and functional, without this you will not get the results you want. Your website exists to build your?customer base. Are you getting business?from your current website due to visitor visits??

Your website needs to be easy to navigate and important contents needs to be more visible, your services more evident and you should have a search for visitors enabling them easily find what they might be looking for.

A significant amount of website traffic comes from mobile devices and your website needs to be adaptable to mobile devices to capture that segment?of the market too. More than often visitors never visit your site again once they cannot view it properly on their mobile devices.

Stay ahead of the competition by having a global class website, that truly reflects your brand, expertise and excellence. You get more credibility, especially from first time visitors if your website is elegant and designed to international standards.

Your website load speed has to be optimised to retain visitors, it should load in a few seconds. Most first time visitors stay no longer than 30 seconds on a website, there has to be a reason to keep them engaged.

It may be time to look at what you have vis-a-vis what you want to achieve. And if your website is ‘doing’ well, that’s great! You should also decide to optimise it to do even more! Improvements are great when done on existing successes.

If you have trouble getting value from your website, contact us and we will work with you to get the most out of your ‘office’ location online.

Once again, What is your "Web-Site" ‘doing’??
