What is your story?

What is your story?

An effective way to change the quality of your experience is to change the story you’re telling yourself.?

Not to deceive yourself?—?but to reframe the situation in a way remains honest, pragmatic, and ultimately more helpful than however you were previously viewing it.?

Let’s say you feel like you failed something?—?a project didn’t go as planned, you missed a target.?

One story you might tell yourself is that this event makes you a failure.?

Alternatively, you might remind yourself that people of all calibers fail from time to time. Those who end up thriving in the long term are those who treat these failures as valuable lessons.

Life is not as simple as what happened.?

The story you wrap around these events, and your subsequent behavior based on this story, make an astronomical difference.?

If the current narrative isn’t lifting you up, you have the power create one that does.?

The Daily Spark exists for two reasons:

  1. To document one idea every day that I've found helpful in my life.
