- Does the Specifications System use an "Approved" Raw Material Database which considers (but is not exhaustive to Allergens, Price, Nutrition, Claims and Supplier Risk e.g. via certified audit) and has scope for future requirements?
2.Development Recipe Generation ?
-Does the Specification System Generate a tailored Finished Product Recipe format which considers the customer brief and uses raw materials from the Approved Raw materials Database ingredients database and has scope for future requirements of layout and added information according user preference and continuous improvement requirements?
3.Production Recipe Document Generation?
-Does the Specification System Generate a recipe document that uses the manually inputted Raw Material Database ingredient codes and auto fills the recipe detailing the rank of the ingredient in descending order of mass, that can be sorted accordingly?
4. Claims Considered?
-Does the Specification System includes options for claims required by the brief and for the ability to tailor information declared such an indication to the user (such as a chef or development technologist) developing the recipe, which indicates allergens present at the development stage that may be a concern to the brief?
5. Costing?
– Does the Specification System include the option to auto generate costing of the recipe based on information added to the Raw Material Database? and If production costs are known these could also be added to auto generate a price per production quantity / unit cost?
6. Pack Copy ?
- Does the Specification System generate a tailored format Pack Copy Document for the recipe ingredients legal declaration and nutrition and a multitude of options to be declared on the labelling of the product and has scope for future requirements?
7. Connectivity?
- Does the Specification System allow connectivity so that data can be shared or extracted from it easily into other documentation where required e.g. for reviews, analysis documents or label printing as a continuous improvement tool and has scope for future requirements.
8. Future Proofing Updates and Bespoke Improvements?
- Does the Specification System allow you to control any updates to its formats and amends to its format (e.g. remove unnecessary generic categories and add categories specific to your products) so that it you have a say in tailoring it the Company requirements and not maintaining generic formats that are required by you product?
9. Licensing and Subscription?
- Is the Specification System you use free from obligation to purchase a license or maintain a subscription?
