What are your Simple Pleasures??

It is human nature to actively seek out anything that brings us great joy or pleasure. Often, it is life’s simple pleasures – that fill you up with joy. Simple pleasures are anything that gives you great satisfaction or makes your heart happy - these are small, simple and easily attainable sensations or experiences. These are unassuming, experiences we commonly take for granted. A moment of self-introspection can lead you to understand what are your “simple pleasures”.
We all have moments or activities that can make our heart happy or provide us with a good start or refreshing end to our days onboard or at home. When I gave it a thought, I realised, my happiness and peace of mind lies in non-material items. I started experimenting and exploring further and gradually started squeezing in a daily self-care routine.
However, the day may look, I take out thirty minutes or more solely for myself. Some days it is possible but other days it is not. However, the days when it is possible provides me with enough mental energy, motivation or even happiness to extend to the tougher days.

These are the few activities I engage in as a self-care measure interchangeably and as and when the day allows me. They help me grow, stay happy, positive and peaceful even after a stressful day. As every person has different requirements to grow and be peaceful in their own skin – think about your own “Simple Pleasures”.
