What If Your Really DO Belong??

Have you ever felt like you don’t belong in a certain room??

Like the people there were somehow leagues ahead, and you’d be the odd one out?

Here’s my little story…

"You belong in every room you walk into."?

?

It’s a truth I’ve had to learn over and over again.

?

Just last week, I had a big decision to make.?

?

I’d been invited to join an OG marketer and his “family” for the next year. Sounds exciting, right?

?

But here’s the kicker—my first thought wasn’t “how can I make this happen?”?

?

Instead, I hesitated. I got caught up in a million reasons why I might not fit in with this group of people who are lightyears ahead of where I am now.

?

The financial investment? That was just an excuse, really.?

?

If you want something enough, you find the funds, right?

?

No, what really held me back was something deeper.?

?

A thought that took days to untangle: “Who am I to be in a room with these people?”

?

After all, I’m just a home business marketer. A mom, a wife, a down-to-earth country girl who’s more comfortable in the backwoods than in a boardroom.

?

But here’s the thing: I’ve always had this fascination with people and marketing.?

?

It lights me up to see how certain messages resonate, how people connect with ideas that truly help them.?

?

I’ve spent years learning, experimenting, and staying curious—and deep down, I knew that curiosity had brought me to this moment.

?

So, I clung to another quote: “If you’re the smartest person in the room, you’re in the wrong room.”

?

Those words haunted me until I made a decision:?

I was going to say yes.

?

And funny enough, the marketer responded to my email with that same phrase: “You belong in any room you walk into.”?

?

Sometimes, we just need that reminder, right?

?
