What Is Your Purpose? - Dr. Natalia Wiechowski
Roger Brooks
Loyalty & Payments Advisor, Book Publisher, Podcaster, 3X Bestselling Author
This week, Dr. Natalia Wiechowski?was featured on the cover Kind Magazine. At twenty-nine, at the peak of Dr. Natalia’s corporate career and deep unhappiness, she quit her job and started from scratch.?During a nine-month sabbatical she changed the way she thinks, speaks and acts. She committed to design her purposeful dream life and founded Think Natalia.
Her obsession is coachsulting people who left the corporate life.?
And she has done just that! Dr. Natalia found her passion, and then helped so many other people find theirs. Her main goal is to help others do whatever it is that makes them happy, which makes her very deserving of this Kind Magazine feature.
WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE??
Is it not crystal clear? For some it is, yet for others it is a struggle or it may be ever-changing. If you know your purpose, keep after it. If you don’t, turn inward to your passion. What excites you more than anything??What desire gets you out of bed in the morning? What is it that brings your emotions to their highest? What lights the fire you want to feel burning from within? Once you have a true hold on your passion it will guide you directly to your purpose.
When you feel a tug at your heartstrings, it’s a sign that you are honoring your calling. You may feel stuck in a career that’s not delivering the fulfillment required to match your purpose. A purpose is something every individual is after whether they’re conscious of it or not.?
Your purpose, after all, begins with self-love, the principle covered early on. Go back to read it for a refresh about the crucial importance of self-love. If you are still uneasy about your commitments to?yourself, spend more time on you and your personal growth. Do something that will stir up excitement for your purpose. Get a new haircut, buy a new piece of jewelry that has significance, or commit to a workout routine. Do something that refuels your tank and gets the focus back on you. The key is to start taking better care of you. Your short term purpose can be exactly that, taking care of yourself, and it will be worth every minute as you deserve nothing but the best!
There are two dimensions to finding and then living out your purpose. The first is to tune into the frequency of your calling — whatever unique gift or ability you possess that sets you apart. There is, however, a second component that counts. You will begin to feel a connection to others that are very likely on a similar path. It is no coincidence when you stumble upon a person or community of people that are all after the same or similar worthwhile goal. This bonding with others will certainly drive your purpose forward with significant momentum. Note that you must also put in the effort to get things in motion. For example, you can’t expect to live like a hermit and simply think about your purpose while waiting for magic to happen. It is quite the opposite. To go after your purpose, you’ll need to do your research, reach out to people who can help or contribute, and put yourself in position so your frequency can be heard.
PUT YOUR PURPOSE INTO ACTION
What would happen if your local radio station played the music and commercials inside the studio, but didn’t click the button to broadcast it out on the air waves to their particular frequency? The music and commercials would be heard only inside the studio. The same premise is relevant to your purpose. Not only do you need to synchronize your music selection and commercials, but you need to broadcast it through your frequency. If it’s out of alignment, no one will be able to tune into you.
It doesn’t matter what stage you’ve reached of the life you are in. You can change at any point in time. You set the rules for finding and living your purpose. Drop out of the stereotypical rules. This is your life, your passion and your purpose. Shift your focus from?what?you want to be to?who?you want to be. And don’t just follow your passion; today, begin to invest in it. Learn, study, practice and perfect your passion and it will guide you?directly to your purpose.
