What is your plan for today?
From Craig Groeschel’s Book, “Think Ahead,” here are 7 decisions you can make today for the God-Honoring life you want tomorrow. Here are all seven, and today we will cover the first four.?
In his book, Craig shares what he has discovered about pre-deciding.
“Experts estimate that we make 35,000 decisions a day. A day! Wow. That can only mean that you and I are making decisions all day, every day.”?
The power of pre-decision is… you decide now what you will do later, taking out the overwhelm, fear, and emotion in the equation.
This gives you the power to choose what you want your life outcomes to be ahead of time.?
This is how you get ready. Make a plan today. Pre-decide what you are going to do? when life happens. Remember what I always say… “Life happens, and then you Choose!”
2. I will be Devoted… This involves looking at what lies beneath your surface. You must choose what devotion looks like. Find the power of connection to God, our source. Remove distractions. And, choose your rule and game plan.
Craig says… “God is God. He is first. I want to live my life devoted to Him. My intentions are good. But without intentionality, I will be distracted. I will lose my connection.” Because of this he says, “I will be devoted.”
3. I will be Faithful… Choose faithful as the one word to describe your life. Remember every interaction is an opportunity to add value. Every resource is an opportunity to multiply. Every prompting is an opportunity to obey God. Faith requires risk. And, you will vastly underestimate what God can do through a lifetime of faithfulness.?
Craig says, “When you are faithful with a little, God will trust you with much. Be faithful in each small thing and God will trust you with more.”
4. I will be an influencer…? Are you an influencer? Decide you will influence with your prayers. Influence by your example. Influence with your words. Remember, it's a long game.
“Maybe you’re tempted to give up on someone. He says. “Don’t stop praying. Don’t stop believing. And don’t give up. You are the salt and light.”
“You are the salt of the earth… You are the light of the world.” - Matthew 5:13-14
Whether it is in your business or your personal life, Think Ahead and pre-decide what your decisions will be and what outcomes you want. This is the way to live a God-honoring life and a purposeful and productive life.
