What is your personal vision?

In time of uncertanties / challenges or for self-development / self-growth purpose, it's important to define what your personal vision is and how your personal vision can enhance your everyday life #purpose #vision #values #personalvision
What it is:
- Iterative: A “living, breathing” document that evolves over time as you grow. (NOT Linear aka A perfect, linear path with no twists, turns, or evolution.)
- Self-defined: Your own definition of who you genuinely want to be in life and at work (NOT Defined by others aka Other people’s definition of who they think you should be.)
- Aspirational: It describes in broad terms the best version of yourself that you work toward achieving every day. (NOT Tactical aka It lists specific actions with short-term deadlines.)
- Multidimensional: It encompasses all aspects of your life— work, home, family, friends, health, personal interests. (NOT Work-focused aka A personal vision narrowly focused on your work or career only.)
Examples:
- Oprah Winfrey, founder of OWN Network and TV personality—“To be a teacher. And to be known for inspiring my students to be more than they thought they could be.”
- Amanda Steinberg, founder of DailyWorth.com—“To use my gifts of intelligence, charisma, and serial optimism to cultivate the self-worth and net-worth of women around the world.”
My personal vision:
To be a learner. To be an inspirer. To find balance in work, life, family, friends, health, personal interests and support causes that I'm passionate about on education, women empowerment, career success, and family planning.
