what is your morning story?
Hey!
What is your morning story?
When you first wake up in the morning, what is the story you immediately start telling yourself?
In case you didn't realize-- you're always telling yourself a story.
What is that story?
Within the first 5 minutes of your morning, you should be feeling inspired and excited!
Within the first 5 minutes of your morning, you should be feeling and imagining your greatest goals.
The story in your head should be incredibly powerful, hopeful, and excited.
You should be telling yourself the story of your ideal future.
When I first wake up, I drink some water and take a quick shower. While in the shower, my mind immediately begins imagining and feeling my goals. I finish my shower with cold water and do powerful breathing techniques to energize myself and to connect the feelings about my goals to my body.
Your physical body is your subconscious mind. You need to connect your vision and emotions to your body. You need to have a physical response connected to your goals.
Then, you need write your dreams down in detail.
Don't look at your phone first thing in the morning. You don't want to over-activate your brain first thing in the morning. This will distract you from your creative abilities.
Take huge deep breaths, write your goals down, and take 5-15 minutes really thinking about your big goals.
Here's what will happen, big ideas will come. You'll think of ways and people to help you really take your dreams to a higher level.
This morning, I'm blown away by the clarity and ideas that came to me during the first 15-30 minutes of my day.
I wrote them down and have already acted on them.
What is your morning story?
Most people's morning story is negative and reactive. It's a repetitive story that goes day-to-day. Most people aren't even truly aware of their story.
The story you want to tell in the morning is your ideal future. During your first few minutes, you want to trigger powerful emotions and deep imaginative clarity about what you want to do. You want to feel it at a physical level, through deep breathing and body movement. Connect your emotions to your body.
Write your goals down.
Allow yourself the space to get additional insights beyond just the outcomes. Allow your creative morning brain to provide you the process.
Your brain will always give you the process of whatever story you're internalizing.
When you internalize a bigger and more powerful story, you'll begin imagining the process of making it real.
Act immediately on the ideas you get.
Don't fall for the myth that you must be perfect or 100% consistent to your new story. Instead, imperfectly but powerfully live the story you want to tell.
Live it today.
Feel it every morning.
Watch what immediately happens to the world around you. Watch overtime as your whole life shifts in profound ways. Watch as the evidence of your vision becomes increasingly apparent to everyone around you.
Watch as your story becomes real.
Then watch as it continues to expand with the rise of your confidence and courage and creative potential.
