What is Your Moon Shot?

On May 25, 1961, President John F. Kennedy gave his historical speech to congress pointing America's destiny towards winning the space race and putting a man on the moon.
History credits Kennedy's vision and leadership as well as his delivery of sweeping, aspirational proclamations aimed at defining the United States as a fully-worthy world leader.
Among many qualities worth emulating, one stands apart from the others. Kennedy's press for the achievement of audacious goals was by his word to benefit those he served. He viewed his leadership as a means to expand the leadership of the nation in the eyes of the world and believed by doing so we would benefit all of humanity.
There is a selflessness we admire in those who put themselves at risk to benefit others. But there is also an unselfishness when we witness from those who not only serve by putting others first, but also refusing to take credit for what they help others accomplish.
Exceptional leaders are those who see themselves as instruments in a larger purpose and make necessary what others don't even see as possible - and help others understand what is indeed possible and make that necessary.
So what is your "moon shot?" What do you aspire to achieve for the benefit of those you serve that will make the world a better, more joyful place?
