What are your leadership essentials?

There are so many definitions and guidelines what makes a great leader. The question  is: can you describe such a thing at all as each individual is different? And what about the leaders - aren't they too diverse to find a common one-size-fits-all definition? I would be interested in your view on leadership. Let me know!

Here's what I have found being essential for good leadership. I am curious on your inputs.

1. Fun – have fun and create fun

2. People – understand what they do, trust them and respect them

3. Collaboration– coach your team and make them cooperate with others

4. Targets – not negociable and let people decide which way to take

5. Impact – never develop your talents without them having left a footprint

Finally: Do expand your power through influence. Do not execute through hierarchy.
