WHAT ARE YOUR INITIAL THOUGHTS ABOUT PERSONAL BRANDING ?

What association do you have when hear “Personal Branding”? I have asked this question nearly 1000 people who attended my webinars about personal branding.
Some people say that it's a bragging and not really good thing; some people say that it’s only for celebrities and some people say that it’s a very important concept to gain opportunities and that they would like to build their personal brand, but do not know how to start.
To those people who think that Personal Branding is important and want to take conscious steps toward it, I want to give some tips which I do for my Brand and teach my clients too.

After having some perception of your current situation, start asking yourself the following questions. Be honest and precise while answering them.
1. Start with WHY (yes, I read that famous book and sure you did too);
Ask yourself why you want to have activate Your Personal Brand Answer to this question will help you stay consistent and motivated on your way to your personal branding process.
2. The second important question is WHO are your ideal customers.
If you are a jobseeker - they might be recruiters, if you are an entrepreneur, they might be individuals or companies. The key is here to know about your ideal customer as much as possible, especially psychographic qualities and behavioral motives, their pain points, their buying decision process model.
3. The third one is WHAT you can offer to your ideal customers to solve their problems and pain points. Stress out What they get.
4. The forth question is to ask yourself HOW you are going to approach them, are you going to use inbound marketing or outbound marketing or both? If you want to grow, nowadays the ultimate thing is to have solid online presence. So, think about your Content Strategy.
5. The fifth question is WHERE you can find them – identify social platforms where your Ideal Customers are and target them. Be creative, different and supportive.
6. The sixth question is - WHEN - right now! Do not wait until you have a polished content, or create content in all possible formats, just answer all these questions, make plan / content calendar and start. On the way, you can test, experiment and realize which approaches work best for you.
