What are your dreams for humanity?

 This is different from anything you’ll see today. It’s simple, beautiful and could make the world just a little bit better.

 Dreams for Humanity is a film documentary project by the very talented Charly Louise. I was so impressed by this project that I reached out to her to learn more.

 She wants you to submit a short video of your wish for humanity so she assemble videos from around the world to create a unique film.

 It only took me a few seconds to think of my wish for humanity.

 “Try to make kindness your first reaction.”

 That’s it. That’s everything. If we all did that, think of the eternal consequences. How many tragedies could be averted if our first reaction is to be kind.

 So what’s your wish? Give it some thought and submit it to the project.

This film is simple and beautiful. There’s no pitch. No complaining. No politics. Just a chance for each of us to seriously think of what we would wish for all the rest of us.

I reached out to Charly Louise, the film maker to ask her about this project:

“WHAT I WANT TO ACCOMPLISH: The short film will be a catalyst for a full-length documentary series that will span all 7 continents, over 50 countries, and over 25 languages with a goal of 100,000 self-filmed submissions and over 1 million views on a major network such as Netflix, Amazon, HBO or Gaia. The documentary series “Dreams for Humanity” will highlight the journey, life and dreams of people across the globe who are boldly envisioning a new future for humanity and taking action to pursue their true life purpose. In weaving the stories of humanity together, we intend to amplify global voices, create a tapestry of interconnection, and empower people to take action towards their dreams, passions, and life purpose as we co-create a conscious revolution that will lay a new foundation for the future generations to come. 

WHY I STARTED THIS PROJECT: This idea for this film began from a simple meditation. In the Fall of 2020, I was traveling in Mexico and a friend invited me to a Dream Portal Activation Mediation at the International Festival “Art With Me”. During the meditation we were asked to dream for something beyond ourselves, something that would support all of humanity. After the meditation we began to share with the people present what our dream would be, and as a documentary filmmaker I felt called to capture these dreams on film. It was in this moment that the spark of inspiration came and ignited a new passion to expand this invitation to dream together as a global community so that we can create a new story for the future of our world.

Right now, humanity is at a crossroads, a unique turning point in history. People are living in a state of chronic high stress and are consumed by fear that is fed by the mainstream media. As a filmmaker and storyteller, it is my life purpose to bring light to the shadows and support humanity in the creation of a new narrative of a world that works for everyone, where all life is sacred. This Film “Dreams for Humanity” is the beginning of a new story, a new sense of normalcy, purpose and connection for people around the world.”

Charly Louise is a visionary filmmaker, art curator, and event producer with 10+ years of experience living at the crossroads of transformation, creative expression, and global interconnection.
